The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in influence within the city.

Note: Spoilers for the latest installment of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The latest chapter ended with a major cliffhanger and introduced the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the additional parties.

This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (the actor).

The Reason for Division

With 13 cast members, it was clear from the outset that maintaining everyone at the same party would be impossible.

This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

As described by the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who enjoy a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might look unsuited, but the developments of the latest installment demonstrate why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

First, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose demise initiated the campaign’s events—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, striking the character, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

Casimir then settled his liabilities and escaped to a fortified location in the northern region, above the city, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, seeks vengeance.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their position as key figures in the influential clan could assist the team reach areas they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now go with him anywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to travel to the remote area in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

Based on the recent installment’s follow-up content, we discover that the Soldiers table will not appear next week, leaving the rest of the cast members to form the Seekers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can expect finding out which adventurers will be where in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
